La Jolla is usually perfect weather in the winter but we do occasionally get some very tropical storms that pass through drenching the city. Today was one of those days and ended up getting drenched. By sunset it was showering with the sun and clouds and there were rainbows everywhere. I went out and took a picture of the La Jolla Coast and you can see how the storm approached the seaside city this afternoon.
I was driving down some dirt roads in Monument Valley and this poor guy was just sitting in the road, miles from civilization. I don't know what he was doing there but I think he wanted some food.
Right outside of Page AZ there are these massive smoke stacks that generate electricity for the Navajo tribes in the area I believe. You can see the smoke billowing in the sky from 20 miles away and as you drive into Page they are definitely the landmark that stands out.
